No Shit! Ex-NFLer Steve McNair Found Dead
I’m not as a big of an NFL football fan as I once was, but I still remember some of the big names in the game, and definitely know who retired quarterback Steve McNair is.
I never thought much of him as QB in Tennessee or Baltimore. I thought he was a little over-rated.
This morning I hear he’s dead, that his body was discovered with that of a woman who is also dead, in a Nashville condominium. I’m thinking murder-suicide, or that McNair much like other high-profile NFLer’s still in the game, got himself into a shitload of trouble with his extra-curricular activities.
Investigators aren’t saying much about the double homicide; except that they don’t have anybody under arrest and that the investigation is ongoing.
The first article I read was just a short blurb in the Washington Post, but the headline definitely grabbed my attention. My first thought, “Holy you-know-what! Are you shitting me?”
I can’t wait to hear about what went down in this shocking story, but the conclusion could be made that it was a murder-suicide, a home-invasion robbery gone bad, or McNair might have been involved in some sort of criminal enterprise that got him killed, and that the woman just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. An escort perhaps?
